This project has taught me a lot about the process of filmmaking.
I have learnt mainly about the different shot types, and how to use them correctly. things like 'match on actions' i had never heard of before and now i know all about them and can successfully use them in the film. if you look at the match on actions from the perliminary task they were not as smooth as in the final film.
I have also learnt how to frame shots correctly and effectively. At the start of the project we had no clue of how bigger differance accuratly framing a shot can make! if you look at the very bottom of this post you can see a very good example of this, in the perliminary task we had a convorsation seen which we framed very poorly, in the final peice we had a similar shot but we made it more successful when we were introducted to the rule of thirds.
finally I have learnt about continuity and the errors you can have if you are not careful. in our perliminary task we have a continuity error but it is justified by the way the shot is framed, you could say that in the second shot it is just out of sight, see the small balck bag on the table:
