Evaluation part 2

Social groups.

Our film appeals to a very wide range of people ranging from people with an age range of about 15+.  This is because the target audience can relate to Sam, they know what its like to be a teenager and be investigative and maybe even a bit troublesom. It also appeals to an older age range of 30 or so. It is a fun, fast paced gripping action thriller. the chase scense and men with guns are considered 'cool' in an action thriller. The film maily appeals to men, the genre of film is typically more apealing to men.
This is the way Sam is dressed.

The viewer socio-economic status ranges from a D grade   (working class) to a C1 grade (lower middle class).  Our main character is a teenager wearing hoody and tracksuit, however he is not like the stereotype, we tried to break the stereotype with our film. Usually people dressed in such a way would typically be troublemakers and possibly violent, but this is not the case for Sam.

Sam is very investigative, in one scene in which he is on the computer looking up information on what he has unearthed, in this scene the shots we have used is a shot reverse shot, however each time it switches it gets closer to the subject whilst music is building in the background, the final shot in this scene of Sam is up close to his eyes. The viewer can see right into his eyes. I believe this shows how investigative he is.

The way Sam is dressed makes him appeal to people who are in the same situation, wearing hoodys/ tracksuits, and getting stick for just being young. However the way Sam  acts makes people warm to him and attract a wider audience.
